COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Beyond the projects, the company and the Vani family have stayed involved in causes and organizations that matter to them: cancer research, juvenile diabetes, the local arts community, small-business advocacy, and the trade associations that set the standards we work to.
The Courage to Come Back Awards
Bridgewater is a longtime supporter of The Courage to Come Back Awards.
Canadian Cancer Society
For more than seventeen years, the Vani family has supported the Canadian Cancer Society through fundraising and direct contributions.
Team Jack of Hearts (JDRF)
The Vani family formed Team Jack of Hearts in 2007 after their godson Jack Stuart was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age five. The team participates in JDRF’s annual fundraising walk and has raised more than $500,000 for diabetes research over thirteen years.
Harmony Arts Festival
Bridgewater sponsors the Harmony Arts Festival’s Readings in the Park program in West Vancouver, where many of our long-standing client relationships are based. The week-long festival runs concerts, readings, performances, and exhibitions across multiple venues.
Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB)
Bridgewater joined the Canadian Federation of Independent Business in 1980. CFIB represents over 110,000 Canadian businesses and advocates for small and medium-sized enterprises on non-partisan policy.
Terrazzo Tile and Marble Association of Canada (TTMAC)
Bridgewater has been a Gold Sponsor of the Terrazzo Tile and Marble Association of Canada (TTMAC) since 1990. The company’s involvement on the association’s executive spans fifteen years, four as President and two as Past President. Andrew Carniel currently serves on the TTMAC board.
