Whistler’s mountain climate makes surface installation harder than coastal sites. Thin-set and mortar performance drops in low temperatures, adhesives cure slowly or improperly, and moisture can freeze before materials fully set. Four Seasons Resort Whistler was built under those conditions: two towers, a 212-unit hotel with 61 private residences. Bridgewater executed the tile, stone, mosaic, and countertop scope across both towers under Intrawest, with PCL Construction in the GC seat.

 

Building envelope and heating systems were stabilised to hold interior temperature steady through the install windows.
